I went out to shoot some trees in a nearby parking lot at night after talking about it for weeks every time Chris and I drove by. The importance of following creativity wherever it may pop up and pursuing personal work for the sake of creativity cannot be overstated in my opinion. I don’t do it often enough, but here is one example of taking the time to take some photos without the commercial space in mind.

These images were shot in the parking lot of AutoDesk behind our house in Marin. I love how the trees interact at night with the lights from the parking lot.
